A GRADE – Division 4
A Grade Coach: Ryan Madden
A Grade Assistant: Gary Cock
A Grade Team Manager: Ross McGlashan
Ryan joined the club in 2003 and played to 2021. He played 323 A.Grade games and 1 B.Grade game. Was A.Grade captain from 2015-19 winning the Best & Fairest in 2018 after a few runner-ups, won the Anzac Day medal in 2014 against Broadview and was an A.Grade Premiership player in 2003, 2009 and 2020. Was joint coach of the B.Grade in 2018-19.
Has been coaching the A.Grade since 2020
B GRADE – Division 4 Reserves
B Grade Coach: Damien Hutchings
B Grade Team Manager: John McGahey
Damien joined Walkerville in 2012 and has played 43 A.Grade and 120 B.Grade games and 1 C.Grade game. in 2021 he won the B.Grade Best and Fairest, won a premiership with the B.Grade and was also announced as player of the Grand Final. Damien has been B.Grade coach since 2023.
C GRADE – Division C4
C Grade Coach: Mark Huddy
C Grade Team Manager: John Forth
Mark has been assistant coach of the C.Grade since 2022 and had decided to take over the reins for 2025
D.Grade 2025 – Division C7
D Grade Coach: Stuart Callary & Travis Bowden
D Grade Team Manager: tbc
This will be only the 3rd time in the club history that we have attempted to get a D.Grade side up and running, previously being 1969-1972 and 1995-1996. in 1970 Walkerville defeated Ethelton 7-7 49 to 7-6 48 to win the premiership
Stuart Callary has had a very remarkable time at Walkerville. He has played 262 games from 2000-2023, 194 A.Grade, 41 B.Grade and 27 C.Grade. He was the 2015 A.Grade B&F, coached 2018-20 in B.Grade and was the 2023 C.Grade leading goalkicker. Stu played in the 2003 A.Grade premiership against SPOC and also in 2019 B.Grade Grand Final that lost to Mitcham.
Stuart has served in various roles on the football committee from 2006 until 2023 and also has been the main man running the very popular and successful Walkerville Football Club Business Lunch for 13 years.
Travis Bowden has also been a long-time servant of the Club since joining in 1995 and has played 124 A.Grade games, 80 B.Grade games and 174 C.Grade games for a total of 378 Club games. Trav has served on the committee from 1998 to 2006 including 2 years as the Chairman of the Football Club (2005-2006).
Travis played in the 2003 B.Grade premiership against PAOC and unfortunately played in the 2 losing Grand Finals. A.Grade 2001 against SHOC and Captained the C.Grade 2012 against Goodwood Saints.
