2026 COACHES

Men’s A Grade

Coach: Ryan Madden

Ryan continues as our A Grade coach for a 7th season after leading the club back into Division 3.

Assistant Coaches:

Matt Crouch

We are very excited to welcome Matt to the Cattery. Matt has joined us in an assistant coaching role. Having played over 150 AFL games with the Crows, winning the Malcolm Blight Medal and achieving All-Australian status. He is already providing a big impact for the Club during this preseason.

Paul Seedsman

Paul has made a huge impact at the club across the last 2 seasons. The appointment of Matt, alongside Paul, shows the significant emphasis we are placing on developing our squads and Club as a whole.

Andrew Naffin

Naff has a long history at the club, and continues to be a big support to the A Grade

Men’s B Grade

Coach: Damien Hutchings

Hutchy moves into his 4th season as B Grade Coach after leading the side to last year’s Div 4R Premiership.

Assistant Coach: Mackenzie Bristow

Macka continues as Hutchy’s assistant for the 3rd year.

Men’s C Grade

Coach: Matt Pike

Matt returns to the club as C Grade coach after playing in 2021-22. We’re looking forward to Pikey taking over the C Grade this year.

Assistant Coach: Kai Miller

Kai joined the club last year, but due to concussions has moved into coaching. This a big move for a 20 year old, and one we are really looking forward to seeing and supporting.

Men’s D Grade

Coach: Joseph Frick

Fricky takes over the D Grade this season. Fricky’s been around the club for a long time, supporting the club both on and off field

Women’s A Grade

Coach: Ben Demertzis

Ben becomes the first Walkerville Senior Women’s coach this season. He has been coaching junior girl’s teams for the past 5 years, leading the U18 team to a Premiership.

Assistant Coach: Quenten Schwarz

Quenten has been involved as coach or assistant coach with both junior boys and girls at Walkerville since 2016. This includes junior boys and girls Premierships.
