A GRADE 2026 – Division 3
A Grade Coach: Ryan Madden
A Grade Assistant: Andrew Naffin, Paul Seedsman and Matt Crouch
A.Grade Runner: Wade Ryan
A Grade Team Manager: Kevin Madden
Ryan joined the club in 2003 and played to 2021. He played 323 A.Grade games and 1 B.Grade game. Was A.Grade captain from 2015-19 winning the Best & Fairest in 2018 after a few runner-ups, won the Anzac Day medal in 2014 against Broadview and was an A.Grade Premiership player in 2003, 2009 and 2020. Was joint coach of the B.Grade in 2018-19.
Has been coaching the A.Grade since 2020 (Premiership A4) and 2025 Runner-up in A4
B GRADE 2026 – Division 3 Reserves
B Grade Coach: Damien Hutchings
B.Grade Assistant Coach: Mackenzie Bristow
B Grade Team Manager: John McGahey
Damien joined Walkerville in 2012 and has played 43 A.Grade and 120 B.Grade games and 1 C.Grade game. in 2021 he won the B.Grade Best and Fairest, won a premiership with the B.Grade and was also announced as player of the Grand Final. Damien has been B.Grade coach since 2023 winning the Grand Final in 2025 against Plympton
C GRADE 2026 – Division C3
C Grade Coach: Matthew Pike
C.Grade Assistant Coach: Kai Miller
C Grade Team Manager: John Forth
Matthew has taken over from Mark Huddy for 2026 season. Matthew played 17 B.Grade and 4 C.Grade games during the 2021-22 seasons including being a member of the B.Grade Premiership in 2021 over Gepps Cross.
D.Grade 2026 – Division C7
D Grade Coach: Joe Frick
D Grade Team Manager: tbc
2025 will be only the 3rd time in the club history that we have attempted to get a D.Grade side up and running, previously being 1969-1972 and 1995-1996. in 1970 Walkerville defeated Ethelton 7-7 49 to 7-6 48 to win the premiership. We finished a credible 7th position
Joe has played for Walkerville since 2000 in a stop start career due to Injuries and playing his last games in 2023. He played 2 A.Grade games, 34 B.Grade and 53 C.Grade for a total of 89 games. Joe has also undertaken various roles with the Football on the Committee and also game day.

2026 will be the 1st year that Walkerville will have a senior women’s side. Side commenced as U 17.5 in 2023 that finished 4th in their division, 2024 in U 18’s they won the Premiership in Division 2 in beating Salisbury North at Prospect Oval and also Iris Newman winning the Association Medal. in 2025 in U 18’s finished 4th.
