Another disappointing loss to the A.Grade again by a slim margin, losing Jadyn Ryan to a punctured lung did not help and means the A.Grade slipped down to 3rd but keep the double chance. B.Grade finished top so get the week of. The C.Grade also finished top on percentage whilst the D.Grade finished in 3rd spot but also secure the double chance.
If you said at the start of the year that all 4 men’s teams and the women’s side would all make finals, they would have carted you off for some rest and recreation.

Four from four on the Men’s side of football today, especially the big win by the C’s moves them over Uni into top spot.
On the Women’s side it was not how we wanted to finish the season. We are so proud of all the players who played today and throughout our first season of Senior Women’s footy, and that feeling extends to their coach Ben Demertzis and all the support staff. It was a huge effort to make the Grand Final in our first season.

A really big day at the club with Past Players Day and our A Grade wearing our 125th Commemorative Guernsey. The B and C Grades had big wins against Kilburn, while the A Grade had to fight hard to push away from the Chics. The D Grade also had a good tough win against Uni (G), while the Women’s side game up against a strong Plympton team.

Two firsts happen for the club today, we had our first senior women’s victory today and we also had five senior teams win in the same round.
It was an honour to have Don McLaren’s Granddaughter Lynette attend the A Grade game today. She was able to present the Medal to the A Grade winner, Jack McKay. The club really appreciated that she could present the medal on behalf of her family.
