To all Cats fans, hoping this Cats Tail finds you well.
Thank you to everyone that attended the Anzac Day service and match at Walkerville Oval.
It was a wonderful opportunity to show our respects to those men and Women who gave so much to our country.
Our start to 2015 has been very tough.
Our A and B grade ?sides are 0 and 4 whilst our C grade sit at 1 and 2.
The Club get some quality personnel back over the next week or so which hopefully will give everyone a boost.
Numbers on the track have been very poor this year and I know this is a real concern for our Coaches and match committee.
We have two choices as a club:
Sulk and concede or fight back and represent your club professionally and to the best of your ability.
Nobody can ask anymore of an individual who commits and gives their absolute best.
It’s those individuals that aren’t fully committed to the club or the team that are the real concern?.
?On a positive, Jack Dowling ,our Junior President, and myself are keen to announce an under 16.5 coach very soon for next year.
We are absolutely in a position as a club that requires our Juniors to infiltrate through and play Senior football for Walkerville if they don’t represent a League club.
We have lost far too many quality Juniors to old scholar clubs over many years.
We would like to make this announcement very soon to give the appointee as much time as possible ?to put together a support team and gather a group of players.
This week our boys take on Unley at Unley and then we are at home to Gepps Cross?.
Remember we started last year at 0 and 4 and ended up missing finals action by % only.
Things can turn quickly in footy and we must all continue to believe and support each other.
See you at the Cattery soon
